Is the agreement created in my browser?
Yes. The document is assembled entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type, including party names, fees or terms, is uploaded to a server or stored anywhere.
Is this template legal advice?
No. This template is for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Laws differ by jurisdiction and situation, so consult a qualified lawyer before you rely on or sign any agreement.
What do the warranty and indemnification toggles change?
Each toggle adds a matching section. Warranties commit the provider to perform with reasonable skill and care. Indemnification has each party cover certain third-party claims caused by its own breach or misconduct. Leave a toggle off and that section is omitted, and the remaining sections renumber automatically.
What is termination for convenience?
With the toggle on, either party can end the agreement for any reason by giving advance written notice (30 days in this template), in addition to ending it for an uncured material breach. With the toggle off, only the breach-based termination clause appears.
Can I edit the agreement after generating it?
Yes. Download the .txt file or copy the text into your word processor and adjust any clause. Empty optional fields show bracketed placeholders like [term length] so you can spot what still needs filling in.
Does it work for any country or currency?
You can enter any governing jurisdiction and pick any currency, and the governing law and fees clauses update accordingly. The structure is general purpose, but local law may require extra or different terms, so have it reviewed.
